MEDEVAC Senior Executive (Bilingual Paramedics)

Job Purpose

To provide adequate and efficient system in Medevac Operations & Procedures by providing proper and effective coordination to all parties and sources, internally and externally to the patients, clients, hospitals, ambulance and embassies.


- Coordinates with the source of request, hospitals, embassies, ambulance providers resulting in an unfailing function of all links in the Medevac chain due to adequate distribution of all relevant information.

- Facilitate a smooth and effective cooperation between all Royal Jet staff involved in Medevac operations resulting in no avoidable delays or operational failures.

- Cooperate and communicate in an organized and efficient manner with various Royal Jet departments and officials and with external parties, such as Medevac request sources and service providers hospitals, embassies in and out, police departments and airports to maintain and develop communication and positive cooperation and monthly routine visit is a top priority.

- Assists in the communication with Medevac patient family members and relatives.

- Provide office administrative expertise to Royal Med, for the purpose of improving processes, systems, administrative methods and communications.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of Quality Assurance protocol and procedures as well as Royal Med International Accreditation and Marketing.

- Supervise and monitor the logging and recording of all patients into the Royal Med Computer records.

- Follow Royal Med Policies and Procedures, to liaise with the medical team members when needed to ensure that good medical practice is followed at all times and to assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records. To maintain strict confidentiality with all patients related information including patient names.

- Responsible of conducting regular to some external parties (Hospitals, Airports, Clients Medical coordinators.. and occasionally to others, for the propose of maintaining good relationship, and harmony and exchanging idea in how to maintain positive cooperation and to improve policies and procedures in an efficient manner, and to deliver new procedures updates to all concerns.

- Helps in giving complementary to clients as being a part of good participations during Medevac operations.

- In some special events (Medical Exhibitions - responsible in giving professional response from queries with regards to Medevac operations procedures.

Skills

Qualifications and Education:
- Medical Record Course Certificate
- Medical Science Diploma/qualification (Paramedic/ Nurse)

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Department of Health and Medical Services
- More than 2 years experience in Aeromedicine and or Medevac


Training:
- Training in aeromedicine (Medevac) and medical coordination


Knowledge:
- Fluent in both spoken and written English &Arabic
- PC literacy

Desirable:
- Medical Evacuation Coordination


COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Has regular contact internally & externally with:
a. All medical teams, staff and Director - Proper coordination and system
b. Guest Flight Control Center - coordination
c. Amiri Flight - coordination
d. Engineering Department - coordination
e. FBO - for ambulance gate pass, medevac escorts
f. Embassy - for coordination and follow ups, ambulance
g. Hospital (In/Out) - for flight confirmation, updating and
h. GHQ/HAAD/Private/Others - for medevac coordination and requests
i. Abu Dhabi/Dubai Police Ambulance - dealing for emergency situation
